Presenting a portrait of my spunky and dearly beloved matrenal grandmother, Anna Violet Stubblefield taken in studio about 1904 at age 6. Even at age 6 I can see the look in her eyes and set of her chin. She always had a certain determination about her that suggested, "Watch out, here I come!"
